Bucs caught a break from schedule-makers
If the Bucs aren't doing cartwheels after viewing their schedule today, dignified somersaults are in order. No question the NFL schedule-makers gave threw the Bucs a bone or two. They don't have to sweat cold-weather road dates. They're back on national TV. The bye week is as late as possible. What more could you ask for? Playing in Super Bowl XLIII in Raymond James Stadium? Everyone is calling for the NFL Network to make a huge splash. Whether it's a smart choice like hiring Marv Albert, or an idiotic one like hiring Pam Ward, the choices are out there. NFL fans have a little celebration as today is the day that the NFL schedules are announced. You would think that announcing an NFL schedule would take at most a half hour, well ESPN is making sure that we get our fill of the NFL by having a 2 hour special. Think about that, 2 hours to discuss the schedules of teams that have not drafted, made final cuts or dealt with potential injuries. read
