Singer Sean Levert Dies in Prison SEAN LEVERT AT THE 2008 NAACP IMAGE AWARDS THIS PAST FEBRUARY According to WKYC in Ohio, R&B singer Sean Levert, who was the younger brother of the late Gerald Levert and a former member of R&B group Levert, was pronounced dead just before midnight Sunday at Lutheran Hospital. We are saddened to report that Sean Levert has passed away at age 39. He was a member of the 80’s R&B trio LeVert with his older brother Gerald and friend Marc Gordon. Sean was being held in Cuyahoga County jail (Cleveland, Ohio) for non-support of his three minor children.
