Sad Kentucky Derby Ending
Our condolences to the owners and trainers of Eight Belles. She hung with the boys today, beating out 18 of them for a 2nd place in the Kentucky Derby. Sadly, some folks (and their blogs) don't miss a political jab in anything. Kentucky DerbyI couldn’t help but feel the heartbreak and frustration the owner of the beautiful filly, Eight Belles, must have felt today. Eight Belles came in second in the run for the roses but her front ankles broke from all the stress of running hard and she went down.
