As a result, enterprising journalists could sneak into unoccupied seats. But when Sen. Edward Kennedy took the stage, the food stands emptied out, and the stadium was filled to the rafters. Thus, this was the best view I was able to snag. Still, the long-distance view was valuable in one respect: the impact of Kennedy's sway over Democrats was in full view. read
