Tonkatsu Ginza Bairin in Waikiki
Kurobuta Pork Loin Katsu While ramen shops from Japan continue to spring up all over Honolulu, Tonkatsu specialty restaurants have yet to catch on here. McCully Shopping Center used to have one (I can’t recall the name), but that was short lived, and unfortunately I never made it there in time to try it before they closed up. Currently there are only two specialty restaurants that I’m aware of. That would be Cafe Imperial Tonkatsu House, located on Kapiolani boulevard, and what we have here readThe Building Blocks of a Super Healthy Diet (with a sample meal plan)
Most people know how to eat healthy, and know that they should — it’s just that when it comes down to implementing this knowledge, there’s a bridge that needs to be crossed from knowledge to action. How do you actually eat healthy, instead of just knowing that you should eat healthy? Create a meal plan, constructed with super healthy foods that you enjoy eating. Now, there are three parts of that solution, if you look closely, and all three parts are equally important: Create a meal plan. W readVegetarian Envy
Friends, I am not a vegetarian but I hold them in the highest regard. I wish I possessed the willpower and unerring commitment to better health, saving the planet and/or animal rights exhibited by most vegetarians. With only a few exceptions (and I shall not name names), my vegetarian pals are svelte, disciplined not only the table but in life as well, and concerned with the well-being of the planet and her inhabitants. These are good people and sometimes I wonder if their goodness is a consequ readAstor Place to Get Slightly Less Life-Threatening

Five Brooklyn churches collected 687 guns. That's pretty cool. Send readWoman Gives Birth To Third Child While Visiting Sesame Place

Will Google’s Knol become the next Wikipedia?
Google has launched its Wikipedia-killer to the world. Will they succeed? Last week Google made its new site, Knol, open to all the world. Cuil launches today from some disenfranchised Google Employees, according to the Associated Press. In the article, founder Anna Patterson says that Google has looked virtually unchanged for the last 10 years and talks about the magazine like spread of the search. After I searched for "flat classroom" I got this page that said it had "14,431 results." When I search Google, this is my result of over 4 million results. When I compare the two -- the top two on Google are actually from the projec readCuil launches: Ex-Googlers take a whack at idea-based search
