Ashley Feri is Back
Ashley Feri, aka the crying girl, was back on American Idol last night. This time Ashley was crying for Jason Castro. Ashley cries like that when she gets too hot, because she doesn’t have sweat glands. © Copyright HollywoodGrind.com 2006-2008. All Rights Reserved. Idol Chatter 1. It’s sad that Seacrest’s shoe fetish has forced most of the girls to perform shoeless now. But it seems his perversion is evolving, as evidenced by him gushing over the french pedi sported by that annoying Oregon wanna-be cowgirl who rearranges every song she does into some sort of Grand Old Opry knock-off that you’d hear somewhere in an Ozarks tourist trap. 2. Whodathunkit? Rockers shine on Dolly night April 2nd, 2008 by David Heitz I can’t help but find irony in the fact that two of the biggest rockers on “Idol” actually outshined the others on Dolly Parton night. The best performances of the evening Tuesday most certainly were by David Cook (”Little Sparrow”) and Michael Johns (”It’s all Wrong but It’s All Right”). I have seen the future of news and it's not pretty. Not that things were really terrific with the Incredibly Shrinking Globe and the tabloid trio of the Herald, Metro and Boston EveryNow and Then. Or television news fiercely devoted to the "if it bleed it leads" concept. But let's get serious here. This week's decision to ax 30 people at WBZ-TV -- including Bob Lobel, Joyce Kulhawick and Scott Wahle -- coming amid the latest round of Globe buyouts that saw them lose Steve Bailey, Helene Donova readDespite slump in sportscasts, Bob's still at top of his game
The first time I ever appeared on television with Bob Lobel was during a live shot before Game 3 of the 1986 World Series at Fenway Park. I wish I could tell you that... readThe Red Lemon
I have to share with you my new favorite children's book author, Bob Staake. I discovered him in a home furnishings store, of all places. They had some books for sale in the kids' area, and I thought The Red Lemon looked cute, so I bought it for Ciara. We found some more of his books at the library, and now we're hooked. His pictures are really something; warm and intelligent at once, not one-dimensional like some children's book illustrations, or busy and crude like many others. I knew I'd see readThe Red Lemon
